FABRICS: DENIM
An upcycling garment made with 4 pairs of old jeans and denim skirts. The garment was inspired by an imagined concept of flowers that possess the ability to breathe in space. This imaginative notion symbolizes the fantastical and unconventional thoughts that occasionally emerge in my mind.
Using a colour palette of blue and purple, I applied the paint to create floral patterns on the denim surface. While the layers of denim were arranged and shaped to mimic the petals of flowers, adding depth and texture to the design. The garment becomes a visual representation of the fantastical thoughts that often arise within my imagination. I hope it serves as a wearable embodiment of these extraordinary ideas, inviting others to embrace their own unique and unusual thought processes.
