17 Trypophobia

GARMENTS:   MASK
MATERIALS: SEQUIN /PEARLS /GEMS /BEADS /PAPIER-MÂCHÉ /PAPER BOARD /WIRES A mask project made with the purpose to overcome, heal or mitigate the fear or insecurities in my co-design partner that discomforts him. Through the way of beautifying trypophobia, I aim to visually reduce their uneasiness towards their specific anxieties. Utilizing the characteristics of trypophobia and inspired by the beauty of coral reefs, the mask will be designed to visually represent the fear while incorporating vibrant colors and flowing forms to reduce feelings of unease and mitigate his sense of discomfort and disgust.
